/ Become a partner!
Does a specific project for women in the Near East, in the Mahgrebi countries or in South Eastern Europe lie particularly close to your heart? Do you care about the integration of migrant women in Switzerland? Or would you like to support the feminist peace politics of cfd?
By becoming a partner you can support a specific cfd project or a subject area that interests you. As a partner, you make it possible for cfd to engage in long-term projects. And as a partner, you receive a yearly up-date on the project of your choice in German.
cfd co-operates with local partner organisations and invests in the knowledge and skills of the people in the area. cfd does not export either materials or experts.
The following projects need partnerships:
Weaving project for Bedouin women (Israel, Negev)
In the weaving project, Bedouin women pull all of the strings: they weave carpets, cushions and bags, they sell their own products and earn their own incomes. They also learn to read and write, to speak Hebrew and how best to market what they make. The additional education and income improves their positions within their families and within Bedouin society as a whole.

Women's shelter in Casablanca (Morocco)
When women suffer domestic violence, the women's shelter offers them and their children protection and a temporary place of residence. They are given medical and psychological care and can benefit from social and legal counselling services. In the shelter, women can further their education and develop the perspective of a life free of violence, earning their own income. cfd also supports campaigns that raise public awareness of the rights of women and domestic violence.

Project for the aged: Sanski Most (Bosnia-Herzegovina)
The Sanski Most centre for the aged offers a midday meal for elderly people, as well as various activities and medical care. A home care service supports old people at their homes. This project is directed towards young women with no professional training who have been traumatised by war experiences. At the centre they receive training in professional geriatric care. As professional carers, the women can earn a livelihood, gain working experience and improve their self-esteem.

Feminist peace politics
From a feminist perspective, there can be no peace without gender equality. For this reason, cfd actively works for the prevention of violence and supports the equal participation of women in the debate on security issues.
